Ayan is a quiet force at InceptionU bringing her skills in team leadership, professional development and knowledge management to our Program Steward role. 

Ayan works with our learners, facilitators and team members to strengthen our curriculum and processes around project-based learning.

She’s a lover of tech and helping people and sees her role at InceptionU as combining both of those passions. 

She spent two years in a variety of roles with Neo Financial, starting in the Customer Experience department and building both the Calgary and Winnipeg teams. Eventually, she moved into Product Operations but found her niche in the Strategy and Learning and Development teams. She also worked with the Venturepark Labs Business Accelerator as the Lead Coordinator running their cohorts, organizing demo days, onboarding, recruitment, partnerships and funding. 

In her spare time she enjoys reading (she aims for two books a month), trying new restaurants and knitting. She has moved from scarves and toques and is now trying her hand at sweaters.

She also has three different side hustles, including a clothing brand called Clothetheworld.

What is your essential skill?

“I love to break things down and poke holes in things. I love to find the problems. I’m also super curious and just have a real desire to make things better.”
