Tony is helping to train a new generation of technical developers and leaders.  He has an engineering degree from the University of Alberta and has worked in the software industry for the last 27 years. A lifelong student, problem solver, and software creator, Tony strives to build right-sized systems that fit the needs of the situation.

Tony brings a unique industry perspective to our program. He understands the three components necessary for building a successful tech venture team - expertise in tech, people with a great business sense and passionate people who are in love with the problem they’re trying to solve. This fulsome approach helps our learners think beyond just coding, but creating collaborative business solutions that work from both a tech and client/customer perspective..

 As a partner with Duck Labs, Tony helps software product entrepreneurs with no tech teams get started and launched. Tony values agile delivery methods, flat organizational structures, and trying to create situations that get the best out of people. We are fortunate to have Tony as part of our team and helping guide our learners in their new career paths.

Tony loves to escape with fiction, play and write music and spend time with friends and family.
