InceptionU announces Bursary for Full Stack Developer program

In partnership with The MindFuel Foundation, we are thrilled that InceptionU will now provide financial assistance to self-funders through our newly created Bursary Program. The bursaries are intended for learners who are accepted into the Evolve Full-Stack Developer program. Both InceptionU and Mindfuel support learners in developing their full potential through STEM, innovation and systems thinking.

Qualified learners will be awarded $2,500 each to help develop skills for effective systems development and for designing meaningful solutions to real-world problems.  The first bursary will be available for our Cohort 9 beginning in September 2022.

“As a learning experience organization, we are pleased to partner with MindFuel, because we have a shared vision for supporting youth in their STEM innovation journey,” says InceptionU CEO Margo Purcell, “We support many adults as they transition to the innovation workforce, and being able to collaborate with MindFuel allows us to connect our talent pipelines.”

At InceptionU, we understand that people in career transition may be concerned about the costs of upskilling and training programs. Being in-between careers while balancing personal and family commitments can be a challenge. It is our hope that we can improve access for more people to enroll in our program.

Our goal to grow this fund over the next few years in conjunction with our valued partners and local tech companies so we can help even more people.

The Evolve course is designed to teach both the technical skills needed to become a Full Stack Developer and the Essential Skills that foster an adaptable, confident, and curious mindset to thrive in an ever-changing digital economy. Graduates who successfully complete the course find employment as developers, designers, data analysts, business analysts, product managers and application specialists. Hear from some of our alumni and read about their journeys.
