Michael Beedie

Michael is like an InceptionU-branded Swiss army knife, tasked with a wide array of responsibilities, both functional and forward-facing. A program steward for a portion of InceptionU’s programming, he also manages and maintains the operational gears and pulleys behind the scenes that allow us to do the important work we do.

Taking the career version of “the scenic route”, Michael has worked in the trades, in education as a teacher in Taiwan, in sales and account management, and most recently doing program and operational work for training programs focused on startup and scaleup success.

In his spare time, Michael is a huge music buff and a film and television connoisseur. An active day in the sun with his family, their dog Tetley, and with some kind of leisure sport thrown in is a day well spent.

What essential skill is helping you be future fit?

“Balancing creative thinking with analytical thinking has been the path to many solutions and successes for me. Paired with a bit of resilience and flexibility, and a little help from my team, there’s always a way forward.”
